STYROFOAM SHAPES FOR CHEBOARDS
Series of shapes made on styrofoam for Cheboards. Models shaped came from the Cheboards catalogue at that time. As Junior Shaper, I was in charge of shaping the beginners to mid level range surfboards. Once the shape is done, a slim cut of balsa wood is placed along the top using epoxy resin and boards are sent into a vacuum sealed bag to dry out and eliminate air, thus creating a tight grip between the elements involved.
